Kanpur Dental Laboratory has been operating since 2003 — ISO 9001:2015 certified, using advanced CAD/CAM and DMLS technology. But they had zero digital presence. Dentists had to call to place lab orders, patients had no way to find or book specialists, and there was no management system tracking bookings, doctors, or lab orders.

The challenge was building a platform that served two completely different audiences at once: dental professionals who need a reliable lab partner with door-to-door pickup, and patients searching for verified dental specialists in Kanpur.

A full-stack Next.js platform — clean, modern, and professional — that acts as both a lab services portal and a doctor booking system. Dental professionals can browse 7 product categories (VISTA Zirconia, IPS CAD E-max, DMLS/Milled PFM, Dentsply Sirona Cercon, 3M Lava, Implant Restorations, and Miscellaneous) and submit lab orders online. Patients can search verified doctors, view specializations and fees, and book appointments in a multi-step wizard.

The admin dashboard — protected by Supabase Auth with cookie-based sessions — gives the owner full visibility: manage doctors (add, edit, deactivate), view all bookings, track lab orders, and update settings. Every confirmed booking triggers automated dual email notifications via Resend — one to the relevant doctor, one to the owner.
